Disposal of Laser

Hi all,
I am looking for any regulation/legislation/procedures of how to dispose a Class IV laser. Specifics include:
Sealed CO2 (carbon dioxide) laser, powered electrically
Laser power is 100W
Any assistance would be great.

i imagine that would depend on where you are. But i sugest you call a local company that deals in industrial and labratory waste. ok i just checked your profile your in the Toronto area. Two companys that come to mind are Philips services and clean harbours. There are probley more but they are big ones that my company deals with
