Is there some information that I can get on emergency exit signage, specifically where illuminated exit signs can and cannot be installed and if they should have directional arrows or not? One example...I have a 2nd floor office door that exits to the stairway into the warehouse, the exit sign is installed flush to the wall and directly above the door with no directional arrows. Since this is not an exterior door, I think that I should move the exit sign vertically with directional arrows pointing to the door. I would appreciate any help with this.
