For over 50 years, De Beers has been active in Canada, growing from a small group of geologists in the field, to having multiple offices and operations across the country. De Beers has two producing mines, one advanced exploration project and a targeted exploration strategy within Canada.
As the world's leading diamond mining company, De Beers is committed to the development of local policies and procedures to minimize the impact of our activities on the natural environment, and to ensure a safe and healthy environment for their employees and the communities in which they operate.
