Universal Industries is looking for two experienced Safety Coordinators to join their team in Lloydminster. One position will be working in the field while the other position in our Lloydminster shop.
Your aim will be to provide daily administration of their safety program. You will be responsible for hazard assessments, work site safety inspections, investigations, safety meeting agendas, and developing safe work standards. You will be facilitating on-site safety training for workers as well.
Universal Industries is looking for candidates who have implemented and administered OH&S programs or initiatives within the metal manufacturing or construction industry. At least 3 years of directly related experience is essential.
Both positions require relevant experience in the health and safety field, and direct administration/implementation of health and safety standards would be considered an asset.
The successful applicants will have a high level of competency in oral and written communication, sound analytical and problem solving techniques, and general computer literacy. Certification as a National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) or equivalent ispreferred, but not required.
