Safety Zones

Hi....
I'm trying to find if there is a specific legislation regarding what kind of lines are used to designate a safety zone in a garage.

We are going to paint yellow lines on the floor to designate the 'safe zone' but not sure if they need to be broken lines, lines with black, or if just solid yellow lines will suffice?

This is in Alberta.
