About the Opportunity
The Casman Group of Companies is looking for an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Site Lead to join their team in Fort McMurray.
Reporting to the HSE Manager, the HSE Site Lead has the primary on-site role in preventing workplace accidents. The aim of this role is to utilize professional judgment in assessing risk, reviewing risk, reviewing work practices, and determining the best practice to achieve compliance with regulatory standards.
In order to succeed in this role, a Certified National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) or equivalent isrequired. Having a professional safety designation, previous supervisory experience, and experience with HSE management systems would be an asset.
You will have industrial construction experience and have excellent knowledge of the concepts and principles of quality, health and safety, and environment.
