Hello everyone,

This is the scenario:you have found some racks that have been hit by a forklift... besides the fact that you need to enforce incident reporting, you are concern about some drivers that require corrective glasses for driving their own car but they are not using it while driving the forklift truck at work (!?)

- Isn't it driving a forklift same than driving a car (even worse)?
- Can the employer include in the forklift safety program that is mandatory to wear corrective eye wear IF you are required to wear it for driving your own car?
- any legal requirement that you may be aware of?

Thanks in advance!!

One place where you might look for direction is in the CSA standard B335- 04. WE used this as part of our site safety procedure.
