Hi,

I am new to the forum. The other day, I posted a question, however it never showed up! I don't know if the moderators blocked it, or what.

Hopefully this time it will work.

I have a background in OHS (have been teaching it for several years). Now, I would like to break into the field of public health. I was wondering if there is any type of training in public health at the technician or technologist level.

The reason I ask, is that the CIPHI prep programmes at places like Ryerson university in Toronto or the M.Sc. in Public Health and Waterloo are both costly in terms of time and money. Are there any shorter alternatives, or at least entry level types of training where one can work their way up?

Does anyone have any information or suggestions?

Thanks!
