The MOL needs 41 new occupational health and safety inspectors to work across the province. As a member of our world-class team of inspectors, you will work to eradicate workplace injuries and deaths by investigating violations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (http://www.e-laws.gov.on.ca/html/statutes/english/elaws_statutes_90o01_e.htm), resolving complaints and promoting safe work practices.
We will be hiring 3 inspectors for mining, 20 for construction, and 18 for industrial and health care. The location for each position is listed in the Position Preference Form.
Successful applicants will undergo an extensive six-month training program made up of classroom and field study.
