ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH AND SAFETY PROFESSIONAL MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
CALL FOR MENTORS AND MENTEES
Mentoring is exciting, challenging and most importantly, rewarding. It brings out the best in the Mentor, Mentee and the organizations that they are involved with. Mentoring provides a supportive learning environment for recently graduated and less experienced professionals to develop the knowledge and skills needed within their field of expertise. It also offers the chance for senior and more experienced professionals to share their successes and failures so less experienced professionals may benefit from them.
There is presently a void within the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) community, here in Canada of a platform for EHS professionals to network and be mentored on a one-on-one basis.
A group of dedicated EHS professionals have put together a mentorship program and we are starting a pilot project. We are currently recruiting Mentors and Mentees. There is no fee to participate.
If you are interested in being a Mentor or Mentee, please contact us at ehsmentorshipprogram@gmail.com for more information.
Sincerely,
EHS Mentorship Program Steering Committee Co-Chairpersons
Sarah Webster and Joseph F. Slavin
