Hi

I am looking for inter provincial comparison list on safety / compensation board requirements specifically covering Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec provinces.

Alternatively, I would like to know any resources available to manage the inter provincial legal requirements effecttively.

Thanks and best regards

You may take a look at his website: www.awcbc.org/en/

In the juridictional comparisons sections, you may find what you want !

Hope it will help

Hi:

The AWCBC tables are not that great as they only provide the legal reference.
My book, published by Carswell in 2008, Canadian Health and Safety Compliance Issues, has many comparison tables for all jurisdictions with overviews of the requirements for OHS topics.

This is an indirect response, but contains some of your needs.

We've started using a contractor information management tool called ISNetworld. (www.isnetworld.com (http://www.isnetworld.com))

It looks at two things:

1. where you work
2. your type of work

It then provides a nifty matrix of OH&S policies required. It really covers off nicely the general regulatory requirements.

I've attached a screenshot of the matrix for a fictitious construction company in Alberta ... you'll get the idea ...

Hi:

I should know but am not sure of the cost. The name of the book is: Canadian Health and Safety Compliance Issues. Author Dilys Robertson.Publisher: Thomson Carswell. You should find it on the internet - Search for Thomson Carswell and you will find this title on their website. You could also try just searching the title and it will likely take you to Thomson Carswell's website.

Dilys.
