Here is some information about a series on Global Supply Chains and Corporate Social Responsibility on June 2 at the upcoming American Industrial Hygiene Association conference in Toronto.

GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAINS AND CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY




TUESDAY, JUNE 2, 2009


Four AIHA Committeees have joined together to plan this day-long series of Round Tables, with the goal of involving industrial hygienists in improving factory conditions in the developing world. A wide range of speakers will address the dangerous and unhealthy conditions that millions of workers face every day on the job and how to eliminate sweatshops in global supply chains.


Round Table 1: 10:30 a.m.
Global Supply Chains and Social Responsibility: The Health and Safety Issues.
Q&A with morning keynote speaker Edward Quevedo
