Are You Responsible for Training or Supervising A New or Young Worker ?
Guest speaker Bjarne Nielsen of WorkSafeBC will give a 45 minute presentation on "New and Young Workers" informing us of legislative requirements for training and supervision of new and young workers, common causes of accidents, and reasons why new and young workers get hurt on the job.
'Dine and Learn' is intended to bring the North Island internal and external occupational health, safety and environmental consultants and advisors together to meet new contacts, network with other OH&S Professionals and catch up with old friends. Often we work in solitude so this provides an opportunity to meet some members of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) and other safety professionals just like you. Spouses, quests, parents, young workers all welcome.
(Early Bird) - Cost to attend this event is $20.00 for Members and $25.00 for Non-Members. This
includeds three menu choices - chicken, pasta, or beef entrée, desert, and a non-alcoholic beverage .
