JOB TITLE:
CORPORATE HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINER
LOCATION:
Mississauga
REPORTS TO:
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures that all employees are trained according to Health and Safety regulations and Industry best practices; conduct and coordinate training for management, supervisors and employees on health and safety.
Promote and deliver fee-for-service programs and services to customers where applicable; assist in expanding training curriculum to meet customer needs.
Assist with translation of training documents.
Provide subject matter expertise and design training modules as required.
Respond to Store unit inquiries related to training.
Analyse feedback from training and make recommendations for improvement.
Audit local store periodically on safety and report findings to Store and Regional Managers.
REQUIREMENTS:
Post-secondary diploma.
Minimum of 5 years experience in developing and delivering safety training material.
Instructor training in Propane, Fall Arrest, Forklift, WHMIS, Lock out, First Aid, Respirator Fit, Hoisting and Rigging, Elevated Work Platform, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English and French.
Results oriented.
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint knowledge.
Valid driver's license and willing to travel.
