An excellent opportunity awaits the right candidate within the food service & facilities maintenance sector in the Alberta Oil Sands. The right candidate possesses a graduate degree in H&S and/or 5+ years of progressive HSE experience within the manufacturing/service industry. Experience in food safety will be an asset.
The incumbent will ensure the effective implementation, development and maintenance of occupational health and safety, food safety and environmental management programs. Be accountable for ensuring all operating units within the location are in corporate and legislative compliance. Conduct periodic HSEQ audits to ensure continuous improvement. Also ensuring all required training is up to date.
You will provide expertise in the management of workers comp and return to work program, evaluate workplaces and conduct job hazard analysis, and Job demand analysis.
There is a 3:1 week (21/7 days) rotation schedule for this position. On-site lodging/boarding and travel to and from home base is provided. A remote location allowance may also apply.
