Today we (CCOHS) launched our new Young Workers Zone (http://www.ccohs.ca/youngworkers/) - a place on the CCOHS website dedicated to providing OSH resources and information to young workers, their parents, teachers and employers. you will see that it is designed with youth in mind! It is a work in progress and will continued to be developed and expanded.
Teaching Tools for teachers is already in the works and a Worker Orientation is planned for later in the year. We hope that by providing these tools and resources to young and new workers - as well as the other stakeholder groups - the number of injuries and illnesses sustained from the workplace can be reduced and even eliminated.
